Credit Where Credit's Due




Now, it remains to be seen whether they'll actually stop the scariest bits of the name-calling and flame-fanning. And, frankly, I'm not sure Palin has this sort of decency in her. But kudos to McCain for at least trying to put a damper on the ignorance and hatred. Even if his campaign helped create it, it does mean something that he's making an effort to back away from the worst of it.

Thank you, Senator McCain. There are worse things than losing an election.
