Israel: The Worst Country

Last night I noticed hundreds of new posts in an LF thread about the Freedom Flotilla. The Flotilla is a convoy of 6 ships loaded with humanitarian supplies and bound for Gaza, which has been under Israeli blockade for quite a while now. The blockade strangles their supply of many things, but one of the worst is the complete ban on building supplies- badly needed to rebuild structures after the Israeli attack on Gaza left most of their buildings in ruins. Cement is apparently being smuggled in through the border with Egypt, but this has to come in bag by bag and isn't anywhere near enough to meet demand. The Flotilla was composed of six ships filled with building supplies and other humanitarian aid. People aboard included a holocaust survivor and a survivor of the USS Liberty incident.

One of the ships had been broadcasting a livestream onto the net for the last few days, which people in the LF thread had been watching. I was pretty sure that all their posts about how Israel had opened fire on the convoy, boarded it, and killed a number of people onboard had to be jokes, right? I mean come on, how could-

Ahahaha they weren't even in Israeli waters yet, this is pretty much an act of murderous piracy as far as I can tell. Hey, who wants to bet that Israel conveniently 'finds' a bunch of weapons once the ships reach Ashdod?
