    so corp. profits skyrocket after... the wars? Then around the time Obama comes into office they crash back to... well, where they should be, then skyrocket again.
    I'm really not liking how often I can quote Orwell to describe life, recently.
    I think the line was something on the order of, "The purpose of war is to use up the products of the machine without raising the general standard of living." - 1984.
