Apparently she was really thinking that the US government would be exactly like the Alaskan, truly failing to realize that they weren&amp;#39;t exactly he same. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also... in what weird world do federal executives receive less scrutiny than state executives? Cheney obviously got away with a ton of shit, but only because he was a brilliant obfuscator backed up by a legion of brilliant lawyers who told him precisely how to act.
